At LSGurdin Consulting, LLC, we offer high level consultation, evaluations, and training that is founded on over 20 years of experience working in special education. Our team works collaboratively and compassionately with parents and educators to gain a more comprehensive understanding of a student’s educational, social, emotional, and behavioral needs and to find viable, evidence-based approaches that support student learning and functioning in the classroom, home, and community.
Our customized services are available in-person and virtually for students from preschool to age 22 with a range of diagnoses, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, ODD, and developmental disabilities.

Student & Program Evaluations
When a student is not making progress, it is important to understand the behaviors that are interfering with learning. We offer comprehensive school Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and home assessments to evaluate student behaviors in the natural setting, and as a result, make recommendations that fit the function of behavior, the student’s learning profile, and the context in which the behaviors are occurring.
We also offer individualized, collaborative, and integrated approach to special education program evaluations and consultation from our highly experienced team.
School & Parent Consultation
Behavioral and educational consultation can help teachers and parents find effective, efficient, and practical ways to encourage student growth and goal achievement across domains. Our consultation is collaborative and student-centered. Parent coaching is family-focused with approaches that are viable in the home setting. We approach all of our cases with sensitivity and recommend approaches that are positive and supportive.
Staff Training
We provide specialized live and virtual training founded on ABA principles while encompassing approaches that reflect a collaborative, compassionate, and neurodiverse-affirming perspective. Our training provides educational professionals at all levels the knowledge and techniques they need to support their students' academics and social/emotional skill development.
