Parent Coaching

One-on-one support for parents navigating tough moments and big questions

Get expert insight and practical strategies to help your child grow and help you feel more confident, connected, and calm at home.

Doing Homework

Sometimes parenting can be hard

No one hands you a manual — especially when your child is struggling with behavior, friendships, school, or emotional regulation.

Whether your child has anxiety, ADHD, ASD, or is just going through a tough stage, it’s normal to feel lost.

As a behavioral consultant with 25 years of experience — and a parent of three myself — I support families in building more connected, less chaotic, and more joyful relationships.

What parent coaching can help with

Constant arguing or defiance.

Difficulty setting and keeping boundaries.

School issues, missed assignments, lack of motivation.

Communication breakdowns between parents and kids.

ADHD, ASD, and neurodivergent profiles.

Helping your child build independence and confidence.

Whether it’s one tough challenge or a more complex profile, we’ll figure it out together.

"Lisa Gurdin has worked in our Early Learning Center providing support to our teachers and parents for over 5 years. She has provided professional development workshops for our teachers, taught us her Early Learning Skill curriculum, held office hours for our parents as well as individual consultation as needed. In every case, Lisa is an amazing facilitator with a warm and approachable style. She creates an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating in discussions and asking questions. She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional who is able to problem solve children’s challenging behaviors with parents and teachers. We highly recommend Lisa as we have found her to be an invaluable support to our program."
